Arrival by car or bus
From direction VIENNA (motorway A1) or from direction MUNICH (motorway A9) please take at junction (Knoten) Salzburg the TAUERNAUTOBAHN A10 southly in direction VILLACH. Exit Golling-Abtenau (Exit 28).

- "Vignette" duty (toll sticker you need for the motorways in Austria): You can buy the sticker at the borders. More information: ASFINAG.
- Winter tyre duty: cars and lorries must have winter tyres from 1st November to 15th April if there are wintry conditions. Duty in Austria since 2008.
- Snow chain duty: From 1st November to 15th April all lorries with more than 3.5 tons and busses must put on snow chains for min. 2 drive wheels. If there are heavy wintry conditions this rule is also valid for cars.
Arrival by plane
Salzburg Airport W.A. Mozart is the second-biggest airport in Austria and is situated just a few kilometre north of the deligth and adventure region Tennengau.

For our guests the Airport MUNICH Franz Josef Strauß is also important. By train you will reach Salzburg in approximately 2.5 hours. By car you need approximately 2 hours (190 kilometres). If you fly from Munich to Salzburg you can park your car at the Airport MUNICH.
