SLEDGING
Some choose to earn themselves something to eat and drink by walking up the run to the restaurant at the top. A cosy atmosphere, a glass of wine or beer to calm the nerves, then it’s ‘off we go’ racing against the wind; each at his or her own pace. Some have their own sledge, romantics and money- savers share a sledge as the snow flies around on the descent. The speed freaks feel the adrenaline and now and again there are cries of “stop” and “watch out”, yet somehow it’s all over too soon!For groups, individuals, couples and families; sledging is fun for everyone –
